review:
A new label, a new act. What’s up?
PS – that’s Peter and Sabine. Blonde, proved to hell and back and for sure not too bad at crafts.. To name it: a couple of a kind - especially regarding musical extravaganza. And.. you can say they kick each others asses.
Bine is part of the legendary Stammheim crew from Kassel. Her minimal DJ-sets oscillate between decent and burning and you can imagine what made her what she is today. Leaving the ground but all tight, always playful (even bold) she’ll drive all of us to a state of just being there – time for some wild dreams.
Bine is also running the label and some might know her by her work on her booking agency Spineakle.
After quite a bunch of musical experiences regarding practical as well as technical matters Peter is at last ready for this thing together which no doubt will turn his work to another dimension. A clash of wicked, even demanding grooves as well as melancholic harmonies, relaxed flow and a modern but classic sound.
Peter also does the LOSOUL stuff which most of you are familiar with anyway.
Now this debut-ep features one solo-track of each of them and – you might expect it - a co production.
Peter’s in best shape and gives one of his best: this time it’s about to go crystal-clear and flashing dynamic at the same time without leaving emotion behind. Half laughing half crying this one keeps track straight into the future – ‘Steeley Blue’.
Bine’s tune ‘Nosplush’ provides some slacking bass and layers of trippy moments to no less than pick up all the pieces to bring them together to one throwing groove. Let this one surprise you.
But more than ever together they make the grade: watch ‘Rave Daddy’ in some of these situations when even the wisest guy falls apart for just one reason – freaking out to find himself somewhere on cloud nine..
The entire EP can be a possible direction where ‘Friends Of Tomorrow’ could go. Best wishes from all of us!

AW"
